I’m just realizing how many cartoons I watched as a kid, that used xylophone for theoretical effects
This was so good! Amazing performance! By the way, Levi where you found score for this, with band?
This in 2x speed 😂
Amazing! Respect to the talent to play at this tempo and level of expertise!
Incredible. So well put
P e r f e c t i o n
All fantastic, performance, band, arrangement and direction !
This performance was so good I stepped outside and an anvil immediately fell on my head, causing me to walk like an accordion to exit stage left.
Becker Blues...is there anything better?! This was a great performance!
Savršeno muziciranje , hvala
great
I wish I could like 10 times. This is by far my favourite rendition of the standard. I love the intro and the drum solo and the saxaphone tone. Everything is perfect.
The dancing lady is so funny but nobody is looking at her...
Thats a conductor, shes not dancing 😆
This is awesome work!
Excellent!!!🎉
this video has inspired me to play instruments :D
Wow, nice consistency on the double stop triple strokes
Ese es muy elegante pero opaco el otra tono azul es mas Alegre, pero es muy elegante y bonito ese tambien

My mouth fell open. Wow, would take me a long time to study this. Congrats to the lady conductor too. Thank you very much for this performance.
Thanks very much for your kind words, and for watching the performance!
Besides being a pinnacle achievement in performance, as a music educator I see tremendous development of memory and an ability to translate a love of music and xylophone. I also see hundreds of hours of practice. This is a great man, worthy of respect well beyond most popular artists in the pop genre. It was a great pleasure to witness such great learning.
Thank you very much for the kind words, I’m very glad you enjoyed it!
Agree 💯 %
he is a great man!
Maravilhoso parabéns a todos.
I played Xylophone Vibes and Barrageophone solos in Australian Defence Force Bands for 40 years,,,,, and Levi,,,,, YOU WIN!!! Absolutely virtuosic and Totally entertaining. I salute you!
That’s so kind of you to say! I’d love to see some videos of you playing as well!
amazing!! Thank You Mr. Cull. You brain and synapses are healthy!
Thank you very much!
Wonderful playing. Bravo! I believe my former teacher Randy Eyles premiered this piece with the Air Force Band in DC.
Thank you! You are correct, I believe Randy Eyles did the premiere
Hi Levi, tremendous playing! I teach middle school band and am beginning to learn a bit about xylophone. Are those Becker Blues and is that a DeMorrow Xylo? I'm sure you could make anything sound musical, but I'm just curious.
Hi Samuel, yes that is correct on the mallets and the xylophone. Good eyes!
this sounds great!!
Thank you!
Nice. The best rendition that I've heard is by Oscar Peterson.
Indeed! Unsurpassable.
Great performance Levi. I used to play xylophone in a music school in childhood.
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
blessings always, Kimmy
Wow! Great performance Levi. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed hearing xylophone music. I grew up in the 50's and 60's and there seemed to be a lot more xylophone music back then. Ed Sullivan etc. What brought me to you tonight was watching a Reg Kehoe and his Marimba Queens video "A Study in Brown". I'm sure you've seen it. Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
Thanks for checking it out! I’m glad you enjoyed it
I'm speechless! Breathtaking accuracy, musicianship and FUN! Thank you.
Thank you for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Man, that's so fine!
Thank you Michael! Glad you enjoyed it.
You are one in a million! What a talent! I really enjoyed your playing. My Dad and I used to play xylophone duets many years ago, and his talent was much the same as yours.
Thanks so much for the kind words Judy!
@@percnstuff Just keep up the good work. It's obvious that you enjoy playing the xylophone.
@@judycook6404 I absolutely will! :)
Super song 💖
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really nice. Reminiscent of the Brubeck/Desmond version of this piece. Well done by all of you guys.
Thanks for your kind words and for watching our performance!
